Solve Mat-Issues

This guide helps you correct matte, ratio or cropping issues when displaying custom art on your Frame TV.

1. Ensure the image aspect ratio matches the panel (typically 16:9 or the specific art mode resolution).
2. Disable automatic color/contrast enhancements in TV settings for accurate display.
3. Use original resolution files – avoid double compression.
4. If borders appear: export with exact pixel size and no extra transparent padding.
5. Re-upload via SmartThings app and clear cached previous versions.
